NEXTTAPE ADHESIVE TABS are by far the best adhesive tabs I've used.
I use it on my acoustic foam for sound proofing my home recording studio. Works perfect!

These are so cheap that I really can't complain about the quantity vs the pricing. I needed a good option to counter the T-pins on the ceiling because they were sagging. I got a pin board and put the foam on the board with T-pins. If you don't like the silver color of the pins on your foam then color exposed parts (the hammer end) with a Sharpie and you will not notice it. I pinned the foam to the board and stuck some of the 3M tape on the back side then put it on the ceiling. I'd recommend also marking the spots where you want to place the board beforehand because any re-dos loses the stickiness of the tape, causing you to start over from scratch.
It's worked thus far - Just a little more DIY than I would have liked to do. Still have mad respect for the other products on this site though!

In short...tape is junk...any wall that is an outer wall where there is a slight temp change the tape loses grip on panels...and remains on walls...I used double then triple the amount on the panels that were on the floor each morning (again, outer wall)...it does not matter how much tape I used...For example. On a light 2 inch thick 1x2 soundtrax I,at one point, used 6 pieces...still falls off after holding it on with pressure to ensure adhesion...A few hours go by...on the floor. Tape does not work AT ALL for larger heavier pieces such as the Vtrax 2ft x 4 ft...although works great on bass traps...no issues with those. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because I LOVE the idea of the tape and installation is quick and the pieces are the perfect size...if they worked 100%.

i refer everyone to buy this foams, works really great to me. If you try, you will be happy for the price cost, and will do the job you want.

This product is probably as good as it gets for it's design. It's not good for heavy pieces of foam or ceiling mounts. It's difficult to remove the brown backing. I use the sharp end of a dry wall nail, starting at the corner, after I've attached the white side to the foam. Leaving the tab on the foam for up to 24 hours helps the tab stay connected to the foam. The older the Tabs before using, makes it more difficult. Good Luck

Works as advertised

Works well. If you have purchased GearWedge Max foam you can't cut it into 1"x1" sections. Gotta leave it 2"x1" but so what. Let it adhear to the foam overnight then stick it to the wall the next day. It'll pull the paint off if you have to remove it ;)

A little tricky to use successfully, but once you stumble upon the right technique, it works very very well...
(RT: grab UR & UL corners of the brown paper backing w/left & right fingers, and tug simultaneously, gently but smartly; one or the other corner will separate 9/10 times).

I don't recommend this product for permanent installations. It just doesn't stick consistently well when used as directed. I used them on a clean fresh surface. Larger pieces are needed and the cost is prohibitive. I bought two boxes of foam and about a third of them came loose in a very short time and had to be glued, especially the ceiling pieces. They didn't even make it over night. I think 3M has a fine line of products and I'd consider using this particular product again for a different purpose, but not for hanging acoustic foam.
