You’ve figured out what you need – acoustically – to get your room sounding the way you want. So now it’s down to execution. You’ve got your shopping list of Next Acoustics products ready to check out. But you ask yourself…”How do I hang this stuff?”
Great question!
We’re always ready to give you alternative mounting methods (see the section on installation tips in our Frequently Asked Questions section for more…), but we also do offer you options to mount your NextFoam quickly and easily. You can always use our industry-leading 3M FoamFast to hang your treatment, it’s a great solution that will hold your product up as long as you need it to.
But we think you might want to try our all-new ApeTape. These awesome adhesive tabs are made for us by 3M and they flat out work. You’ll get 24 1” x 2” double stick tabs with two liners for protection. Just peel the first liner, apply the tab to your NextFoam panel, then peel the second liner and mount your treatment!

Initially it is suggested that you lightly apply pressure to the panel. That way, if some readjustment is necessary, the adhesive tabs will still be removable. When you’ve established the desired mounting position, press firmly on the tab areas of the NextFoam panel to aid in adhesion. ApeTape will provide 75% finish adhesion at that point. Within 24 hours, they will be fully stuck to desired surface.
